Nars Narsissist Studio Cheek Palette Review

Hello lovely people! 😘
Today on the blog I wanted to share another product review with you all; I really enjoy doing these types of posts because they are so beneficial when trying to decide whether or not to buy a product, because lets be real no one wants to spend hard earned money on a product and then hate it ✌🏼 So I hope you also really enjoy these types of posts 😁😚
Today I am reviewing… *drum roll please! the NARS Narsissist Studio Cheek Palette!
I bought this product a few weeks ago and I have been putting it to the test to see whether or not the product is a hit or miss! As usual lets begin with the product details. The Narsissist Studio Cheek Palette is a seven shade sculpt, glow, blush and bronze palette which is meant to be ideal for creating a look for any occasion. I bought the Palette in store at Mecca however you can also purchase it online (http://bit.ly/NARSstudiocheekpalette) it cost me a total of $104AUD (a bit pricey right?) but I guess thats to be expected buying high end makeup products!

As seen above the NARS Studio Cheek Palette offers seven shades (a highlight, contour and bronzer and four blush’s) in which you can create your desired look. The shades from the top left include; Paloma Highlight and Contour and Laguna Bronzing Powder and from the bottom left Icy Lilac, Sausalito Sunset, Shimmering Rose Peach and Fleshy Pink. One of the things that drew me most towards buying this palette was its price value; which seems crazy considering that the palette is $104, however doing a bit of calculating I estimated id save around $200 on buying the entire palette instead of buying the products individually and this is a HUGE saving!

I honestly do not really have anything bad to say about this palette because I absolutely adore it ❤️ however if I am going to be really nit picky, here are a few things that I do not like about this palette; 1. the glass exterior can gets super dirty and leave smudgey finger prints and 2. the highlight shade is not an illuminator and does not make you glow (a lot of people assumed that the highlight was for creating glow – however it is an under eye and concealer highlight similar to a banana powder *except more salmon) and even that is not a product downfall for me because I actually prefer it that way, however if you do want a glowy highlight in a palette then this will not be perfect for you… so there you go guys! my whole two negative thoughts about this product – KEEP ON READING to understand why I love it so much! 😍
OK! so lets talk a little bit more about things I like about this palette! 🙊 Firstly is the gorgeous packaging! The palettes exterior is an amazing reflective mirror and the products name written in classic white writing! I think that this is a really beautiful way to showcase the palette and it looks perfect on display! When opening up the palette you are again greeted with another huge mirror and all products sitting in a black case. I love the fact that this product comes with a massive mirror because it really does help you apply your makeup nicely! I find that the palette is quite light weight which is also a bonus! Another thing I love about this product is its versatility, it is definitely an awesome travel companion, as the palette contains seven diverse colours in which you can alter your look, you can also use the shade as eyeshadows (which I actually do 🙊). I definetly think that this palette will be coming on a few of my next upcoming trips as substitute for other products I cant be bothered lugging around. In terms of the formula, pigmentation and size of the products, I LOVE all aspects! The formula for all seven shades are super buttery, easy to blend out and have amazing pigmentation, you are also given decent sized pans of shades and a very generous amount of laguna bronzer (NARS classic and highly requested purschase!), so in that aspect its awesome money value! Lets chat a little bit more about the colour selection in this palette. I find that I am able to use all of the shades and I really do enjoy all of them (especially the highlight, laguna bronzer and the blush fleshy pink, HOWEVER (yes there is a however 😏) I think I much prefer the shades in the NARS Steven Klein collab 🙈 the palettes are basically the same except the Steven Klein has the peach blush Lustre (which I am dying to own!!!). Other then that I love the shades in the palette and find use for all of them! 🙌🏼
