Hello lovelies! ☺️ I am so happy to be back on here and writing again; I hope you have all been well! On the blog today I am sharing with you a little outfit post I put together! I haven’t done one of these for a little while and was feeling inspired with some new pieces, so I thought why not!? 🙊
Lately I have been loving simple, elegant and put together outfits…usually in the shades of black, white or grey, what a surprise 😂 I think the reason for this is that iv been on field placement for my degree for last three weeks and every day poses a new challenge of finding the perfect outfit (with a balance between casual yet professional, yet still super stylish). The outfit I put together for this post has been one iv been loving to wear on placement as it is super simple, comfortable, professional and gives off high street fashion vibes. The star pieces of this outfit would definitely have to be the off the shoulders boxy tee by Sportsgirl and the pop of baby blue in my Belle&Bloom bag.
So lets talk more about this bag – because it really does in my opinion pull this whole look together and give the outfit an awesome new dimension 😍 I was gifted this bag by my lovely boyfriend for my 21st birthday, I had been eying off the bag for a really long time and with a bit of nagging he noticed and went ahead and bought it for me! ❤️ The bag is in a baby blue genuine leather suede material with gold metal detailing. The piece is super unique as it it a flap over clutch with a magnetic spot to keep the bag folded. It also comes with gorgeous tasseling connected to the bottom of the bag for a special touch. This bag retails for $249.95AUD however is now on special for $124.95AUD which I think is awesome for such a gorgeous piece. Whilst the bag is a little hard to maintain due to the material and shade its definitely still a win purchase and I will be using this bag for a very long time to come!
More about the rest of the outfit… I wanted to keep the look really quite simple but still quite high street, I did this by focusing more on textures, shape and material. To go alongside the boxy off the shoulders top, I opted for a pair of plain leather look leggings, these leggings are not only super comfy but also quite classy and something I quite often reach for in the morning before heading into the office 👌🏼✌🏼. In the instance that it was going to get a bit chilly either outside or even inside with the air-conditioning on, I drapped over my shoulder my GORGEOUS Tulula genuine leather suede cropped jacket – this is a piece I will be featuring on its own very soon! I thought that this jacket would match perfectly with the leather suede detailing in my bag and I just love it to bits 😍❤️ I then chuck on a pair of chunky faux leather chelsea boots for additional height (because I need it!).
To accessorise my outfit I put on my beautiful pandora charm bracelet, which has my favourite new three charms from my holiday adventure ✨ I also put my OhLay sunglasses on, which are exact dupe of the Dior “soreal” sunglasses, and finished the look with a touch of liquid lipstick (Too Faced melted matte liquid lipstick in Child Star).
& there you have it lovelies, that is part one of a potential series I may do of office outfits. Whilst waking up in the morning and hunting for a great outfit can be super frustrating at times; especially when you sleep past your alarm, its still super fun to experiment and not have to be stuck wearing the same old boring clothes you wore the day before.
