TOP THREE: HIGHLIGHTERS

Highlighters seem to be all the rage at the moment, and I cannot deny my love for them! Highlighting the face takes you from slab to fab, it give you an amazing hit of radiance and glow which makes you look super healthy, happy and basically like an angel from heaven 👼 okay… well maybe not the angel from heaven part but you will definitely notice the difference when the perfect highlighter has been applied! In todays top three I am featuring a high end highlighter, drug store – affordable highlighter and also a cream – liquid highlighter so hopefully this will be super informative, helpful, enjoyable and suit the needs of everyone 🙊😍
BECCA: SKIN SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR PRESSED

The first highlighter I am going to be talking about is BECCA highlighter in Moonstone (yes that right, moonstone not champagne pop!) Whilst I love champagne pop, I just love moonstone a lot more! Moonstone is a gorgeous light golden highlight, it just gleams beautifully off the face and I think it is suitable for different skin colour and types. The pigmentation of these highlighters are just spot on, they are also so smooth and buttery, when your run your finger through the powder you can feel just how finely milled the product is, it is just luscious! I continuously find myself reaching for this highlighter as it gives the right amount of glow and its also not chunky in glitter so you don’t look like a disco ball! Whilst I do love this highlighter and think it is probably one of the best in the market, it does come at quite a price – costing $60AUD (you can purchase here at Sephora http://bit.ly/2ckBnJb), so if this isn’t quite in your budget range then don’t worry I have alternative, however if you feel like doing a little splurge at the checkout make sure you pick up this winner you wont regret it. and P.S can we talk about BECCA’S packaging 😍😍 so luxurious, so perfect, really takes the product to another level! absolutely love the product!

THE BALM: MARY-LOU MANIZER ILLUMINATOR

Next up I am going to talk about a product that is a little more on the affordable side and that is THE BALMS Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter / illuminator! Now you have probably already heard all about this awesome product from everyone else, BUT I am such a huge fan of The Balm, so I am going to talk about it too! This was the first highlighter I ever bought after I had watched so many youtube videos with people raving about it! So early in my makeup days I took the plunge and went and bought this product and I have never looked back 🙈 The Mary-Lou Manzier will cost you a mere $38AUD (you can purchase here at ASOS http://tinyurl.com/jjrnffl) and I find that this is quite an affordable price compared to many of the other highlighters in the market, and you will find it quite comparable to a lot of higher end highlighters (including moonstone by BECCA). I love the colour of this highlighter because it is a gorgeous champagne glow, it is a little more glittery than moonstone however this is great for nights out when you really want to step up your highlight game after office hours ✌🏼The Balm also always have cute packaging and a really good mirror in the compact so that is also definitely a bonus! All in all still super impressed with this highlighter even after using it for several years – that in itself must say something ☺️

NARS: COPACABANA LIQUID ILLUMINATOR

Last but by no means least, I am going to be talking about a liquid highlighter (oh yes thats right liquid not powder 🙈) which is NARS Copacabana illuminator 😍 I didn’t think I would ever like a liquid highlighter but O.M.G this stuff is amazing and I am already itching to get the other three shades in the range! I am absolutely obsessed with the colour of this illuminator, it is a gorgeous pearl pink and it honestly makes you look so healthy, glowly and perfect! I use Copacabana on top of my foundation prior to powdering my face and then I also like to apply another powder highlighter over it for a bit more pop! but honestly this stuff alone is just stunning! I really recommend this highlighter if you have skin that is more on the drier side because it wont flake around dry skin like a powder highlighter would, but even if you have oily skin (as I do) it works just as amazing! Nars illuminators including Copacabana costs $44AUD (you can purchase here at Mecca http://tinyurl.com/jn482vk) I honestly think this is also a reasonable price because this stuff will last you a life time, the smallest amount will take you a long way so its more then worth the cost! You really just cannot go wrong with this product and if you have been skeptical about buying liquid highlighters – DONT, they seriously are just as amazing as powder highlighters!
