Hello lovely internet friends! Happy April, I hope you have all being doing fanatic since the last time I wrote – my apologies for being MIA for about a month! I have missed being on here so much but don’t worry I wont ramble to much about it because I do every other time and I really want to get straight into this blog post which I hope you are all going to love! ❤️

So today on the blog I wanted to talk you through my all time favourite makeup brushes; yes that is right I am going to let you all know which tools I use to make my face up on a daily basis! PS. I am not going to lie to you, these brushes have changed the makeup game for me – and they may do for you too 😍😍 So get your mug of coffee, hot chocolate or your favourite cocktail and also don’t forget your credit card – this blog post will require a few more then one or two scrolls down the page and you may feel triggered to go on a spending spree 🙊so without further a due lets get into it!

The Beauty Blender:

OK… first lets talk about the “Beauty Blender”, basically…YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE! The beauty blender has literally been one of the best purchases I have ever made from a makeup store. It has literally replaced my foundation brush, concealer brush and even at times my powder brush. The sponge does the most amazing job of evenly spreading out my foundation and concealer and then it so perfectly buffs the product into my skin, trust me if you use the beauty blender you will never look caky again! I use the large bottom half of the beauty blender to blend out my foundation all over my face and then I use the tip of the sponge to blend out my concealer and powder AND I also always use my beauty blender wet (which I think is the key!). Ever since I got the beauty blender I haven’t even thought about using a brush, and if you haven’t clicked out of this blog post to go purchase a beauty blender for yourself then you probably should!

ZOEVA – 142 & Modelsprefer – Air Brush Concealer Brush:

Moving on… lets talk about concealer brushes – and whilst I do not use these specifically to blend product out (because thats what I have the beauty blender for) they do still hold an important use and hence why I have two to share! Firstly the ZOEVA luxe 142 concealer buffer brush is the absolute best for buffing in colour correctors! I ALWAYS use this brush to buff in the Becca Pistachio colour corrector into my problem areas (for example: redness, hyper pigmentation and acne). The reason I love this brush specifically for colour correcting is that it is dense enough that you can pack on a lot of product for maximum coverage, but it is also soft enough so that you can blend it out to perfection when needed. Secondly we have the Modelsprefer airbrush concealer brush, and this brush hold one sole purpose… it ever so perfectly applies concealer to my under eye area before the blending begins. This brush is not only the ideal size for the under eye area, it is also so soft that it does not irritate the delicate skin under the eyes – it just makes life so much easier and I have not found a more perfect concealer brush then this one!

Real Techniques – Powder Brush:

Moving on lets talk powder brushes! My favourite definitely has to be the Real Techniques powder brush, and honestly I don’t have much to say about this one- in a nutshell its big, fluffy, soft and does exactly what it needs to do! I use this brush primarily to dust off all of the excess powder I put on my face when baking. Want to be left with a smooth base after powdering? Then you need this brush, plus it is also cheap so everybody wins!

ELF – Stippling Brush:

I am not going to lie, finding the perfect blush brush has always been a struggle for me and blush is something that requires the perfect applicator otherwise you will go from fab to drab! I first started using blush with big bronzer brushes which applied way to much product and made me look I was doing some serious blushing, so I then decided to move to stippling brush’s which worked amazing –  I now use the ELF stippling brush to get the perfect flush of blush! 😚

Sephora – Pro Contour Kabuki Brush 82:

Now I wanted to give a shout out to one amazing brush in particular and that is the Sephora 82 contour brush 😍 My sister was amazing enough to purchase this for me and OMG I don’t think I could live without it now! The shape of the brush makes it perfect for contouring as it follows the natural hollows of your cheek bone, which is exactly where you want to place your contour – so it comes out perfect every time. Even if your not a contour fan you should honestly still get this brush because it is softer then a fluffy pupper and can be used for more then just bronzing up the skin!! I think this brush is ahhhh-mazing and wouldn’t be able to recommend it enough – congrats Sephora for making a bomb ass brush!

Real Techniques – Setting Brush:

Last but definently not least in my top seven must have face brushes is for sure everyone’s favourite real techniques small setting brush! What I love most about this brush is that it is so versatile – one tiny little brush can be used for so many different things, it really is a deal breaker. I love this brush in general and it has had many purposes over the course of its life, but I have fallen in love with it particularly when I am about to start highlighting! This brush is the perfect size and shape to give you that all over glow – it has the ability to beautifully compliments all of the high points of your face without over doing it. I am sure you have already heard the whole world rave on about this brush so along with my positive review you should definitely go out and buy it if you don’t already have it!
